We are all really bummed about this, but we're not going to be playing tonight at the Velvet Lounge. We found out twenty minutes ago that Aram is stuck in Atlanta with food poisoning (my guess is Waffle House).

We hope we didn't ruin your life or your opinion of Waffle House. And if you'd like to verbally or physically abuse us for this you can find Pete and I at the Velvet's bar tonight because both Coffinberry and AsTroKnoTics are still playing!

Huge thanks to everyone who came out to the shows this past weekend! Frostburg was a long drive but a drunk's heaven. Devil's Radio, The Marksmen, The Country Bears, Blue of Noon and D.C.'s own The A.K.'s kicked some serious ass, so we'd like to give a big thanks to all those maniacs for helping us out, and to all the venue's that hosted us.

So I guess its been a month, and now we've got a lot of news to share. First, we're excited to be playing Existian Fest on JULY 23! It's going to be at Meridian Hill Park in DC, it'll start at noon and go till dark. Check the Shows page for more info. Existian.org will have even more info and will be up shortly, too.

Second, we've sold our souls to myspace.com finally. We started a page a couple days ago, go here to check it out Cab Assassin. There will be music up there shortly, and more fun stuff. We look like losers now cuz we've got no friends. So send some love will ya.

We also got those stickers back finally! We've got no excuse for why it took so long. Anyway, if you'd like to tag your car, your neighbor's car, or your neighbor's face with one of these suckers than email us your address and we'll mail ya a couple.

We're also getting close to finishing the mix and art for the album. Yeah, we know it's taking forever, but hell we're making sure it kicks ass, so give us a break!

So hey, we played Atlanta for the first time over the weekend and had a killer time doing it. You Atlanta folk were awesome and we can't wait to come back down there. Much thanks to our friends from Blue of Noon and Contraption for putting together the show. We only wish we could have stayed longer. We're also planning shows for the summer and working on finishing up the recording. We'll keep ya updated on that, but keep checking the site for the latest.

So much has happened since the last post! We played NYC for the first time, hit Baltimore again, and played DC too. Thanks to everyone who's been coming out. CBGB's was awesome, we had such a great crowd. For those who missed the DC 9 show earlier this week, you all missed out. The boys from Devil's Radio kicked ass. In Other News! We've got all the tracking down for the record and so we're putting all the finishing touches on it so it will hopefully be ready by mid June. Also, to add yourself to our Maling List to get updates about shows and whatnot go to the Contact page and shoot us an email. That's all for now, but it's Cinco de Mayo, so go out and do something fun!

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Old Town Theater, I hope everyone had as great of a time as we did. Old Town Alexandria is an odd place... But besides the odd looks we got from a lot of the people on the streets and the one guy who refused to acknowledge me when I asked him a question, we met some cool people. We definitely hope to see all of you again really soon, and we'll let you know when the next show is. peace.

Welcome! The Cab Assassin web site is finally up and running! There will be more improvements and additions to the site in the near future.
